Excellent for reminding yourself to move around
I get so focused on work that I’ll sit in front of the computer for many hours at a time. I’ve set up Time Out to remind me to get up and stretch fairly often and to walk around a bit at least every hour - and already I’m having less problems with eye strain and poor circulation in my feet.
The free version was good enough to start, but I think the supporter features are worthwhile too - I like having the countdown in the menu bar and being able to reset when there is a “natural” break. As a programmer I spend a large portion of my life using a computer and this app is definitely improving how I feel overall.
